Connecticut is home to one of the fastest-growing wine regions in the country. Explore this gorgeous state through the diverse varieties of grapes that grow here! The Connecticut Wine Trail features two dozen vineyards and wineries scattered across Connecticut. Each showcases unique styles of wine, so whether you favor reds, whites, roses, orange or sparkling wines, you'll be able to find something delicious and local to drink. Discover Connecticut's rolling hills and salty coastlines through the region's unique terroir. Taylor Brooke Winery produces sparkling wines, dry whites, semi-sweet whites, reds, still roses, and dessert wines, as well as a brandy aged like bourbon. They offer food, music, and a busy events calendar (including yoga with the winemaker) and recently opened a brewery adjacent to the winery.

Reimagined barn with spectacular views the perfect place to gather, enjoy a glass of wine

Soar on over to the Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard and prepare to be amazed by the surroundings as well as the wine. The vineyard, now a part of the CT Winter Wine Trail through March 30, serves wine with a side of architectural awe. The reimagined classic barn sits on the edge of a hill with sprawling views of vines and forest out of large windows. Enjoy a glass or bottle of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir Raptor Red with friends and family, gathering around the fireplace. Check the website for a schedule of live music. The vineyard is family-friendly, and you may bring your own food (sometimes food trucks are available during live-music events).

A family-run farm since 1787 (the first Hopkins came over on the Mayflower!), the family started growing wine grapes in 1979. Visitors can sip wines by the glass or bottle and snack on assorted cheeses and small plates.
