Simsbury -- Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows (following concert, with admission fee). Rain date is June 30.
Windsor Locks – Veterans' Memorial Park, Southwest Avenue. This is part of the Windsor Locks Fire Department Carnival. 9:30 p.m. Rain date is June 30

Bridgeport -- Barnumpalooza Fireworks, Seaside Park, Soundview Drive. This is part of Barnumpalooza, starting at 11 a.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m.
Orange -- Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road. Rain date is July 2.
Putnam -- Concert by Juice Box at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks, Rotary Park, Kennedy Drive. Rain date: July 8.

Middlebury -- 3D Fireworks, Quassy Amusement Park, Middlebury Road. 10:15 p.m.
New Britain -- The Great American Boom, Stanley Quarter Park451 Blake Road. Festival starts at 5 p.m. and singer Latanya Farrell will perform at 6 p.m. The festival also includes food vendors, inflatables, face painters, and magicians. Fireworks at dusk. Rain date: July 5.

Riverfront Fireworks 2018

Hartford CT Riverfest Start the night off with a concert on either side of the river at 7 p.m. Fireworks follow the concerts at 9 a.m.

Celebrate America! Concert with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra

Jun 29, 2018 - Jun 29, 2018 Performing Arts Center at Simsbury Meadows, 22 Iron Horse Blvd. Simsbury, CT

Featuring the Asylum Hill Congregational Church Choir, the Newington Church of Christ Congregational Choir, and soprano Sonja Dutoit Tengblad, this program will include all of your patriotic favorites, plus a tribute to Leonard Bernstein. Stay for fireworks following the concert! Rain date is June 30.

Parades

Independence Day Parade 2018

Jul 4, 2018 - Jul 4, 2018 Route 1 Madison, CT

Parade will proceed west on Boston Post Road (Route 1) from Samson Rock Drive to the West Wharf Road and will end in the Surf Club. The parade will require road closures. Residents and motorists should expect traffic delays along the parade route between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Affected areas will include Boston Post Road (Route 1) and all intersecting roads between Wall Street/Samson Rock Drive and West Wharf Road.

Fourth of July Bike Parade & Lawn Games 2018

Jul 4, 2018 - Jul 4, 2018 Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Avenue Southport, CT

This annual event is a bike parade that starts at the Five Corners in Southport Village with decorated bikes, scooters and wagons. The parade ends at the Great Lawn of Pequot Library for face painting, sack races, a hula hoop contest, Revolutionary Relay, crafts and an American History trivia contest. Hot dogs and drinks available.
