This two day festival is a ticketed event that allows you to taste the wines from all of the wineries; take a tour of the Bishop’s Orchards Winery; hear seminars by wine experts, live music and entertainment; and visit with local vendors and artisans. Food offered at the event is an additional charge. Tickets are valid for one day.
Time: Saturday, noon-7 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
Town Hall will be the location for live music, food trucks, kids activities and the beer & wine garden starting at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Town Beach will have live music and food trucks during the day with the fireworks starting at 9 p.m.
Time: 4-10 p.m.
Dive in a sample the oysters at this longstanding food festival, which also include children's entertainment and live music by Eddie Money and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. . Free admission. No pets. Time: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Oyster Eve is August 17 at Lisman Landing on Milford Harbor on Helwig Street with live music. 6-10 p.m., $5 cover charge, youth under 14 admitted free.
Craft Expo 2019 brings 180 national-caliber craft artists to this outdoor show, one of the most respected craft shows in New England and the country. This is a juries show. Other activities of the day are craft activities for children, a silent auction, and a food court. Hours: Friday, noon-9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. -7 p.m.; Sunday, noon-5 p.m.

This free all-day music festival is a benefit for the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter. Music by Connecticut bands, including Chewy and the Grateful Friends and Dynamojo. Food trucks and Branford restaurants in walking distance. Activities include Hippie Dog Costume Contest; Woof Walk; children's area with moon bounce, obstacle course, dunk tank and hula hopping.
