elcome to the FitchClaremont Bed and Breakfast situated on the working Old Fitch Farm Vineyard. We are located in the small rural town of Bozrah, Connecticut. Bozrah, the only town with this name in the world, is located in southeastern Connecticut, minutes away from the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos, and just a short drive to all Mystic attractions.

We offer for your comfort and enjoyment four unique guest rooms each with its own in-room private bath, fireplace, air conditioning, telephone and cable TV.

Also available, a short walk through the vines, is Mary's Cottage. This spacious apartment offers a comfortable combination of bedroom, bath with laundry facilities, kitchen/living room (with pull out queen sofa bed), and dining room. This makes it perfect for small families and those seeking a longer stay accommodation..

A full breakfast is served each morning in the sunroom overlooking the vineyard. The menu varies with the seasons and includes eggs, inn-fried potatoes, and surprise French toast. Enjoy raspberry cream pastries, blueberry muffins, apple and berry tarts, and more.

The FitchClaremont House B&B is located in quiet rural Bozrah minutes away from major highways I-95, I-395 and Route 2. We are convenient to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino, and the Mystic Coast and Country attractions.

The original house was part of the Waterman Farm which occupied over 300 acres of fertile land. Through the years the home has enjoyed many and varied uses: a farm; a publick house called "The Claremont Inn "; a private residence of Asa Fitch ( a prominent industrialist) and currently as a vineyard and the home of Warren and Nora Strong.

The house has changed architecturally with each owner's occupancy: a simple farmhouse; and aristocratic residence with private racetrack and third floor ballroom; to its present rambling gambrel style situated on the old Fitch Farm Vineyard.

From Springfield/Hartford/Bradley International Airport: I-91 South to Route 2 East (exit 53, left hand exit - Norwich/New London). Follow Rt. 2 East to exit 23. Turn left at ramp onto Bozrah Street Ext. Turn right at stop sign onto Fitchville Road. The Inn is.7 miles on left.
