Glastonbury Dog Park (at Riverfront Park)

Park is two acres, fenced; dogs may play off-leash. A separate area for small dogs is also included. Some of the park amenities include benches, waste receptacles, dog litter bags, water stations and more (be sure to bring water for your dog).
Hours: One half hour before sunrise to one half hour after sunset.
Dog Rules: All dogs must have valid rabies vaccinations and wear tag on collar. Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the off-leash area. Dogs must be attended, within sight and under voice control of their owners at all times. Limit of two dogs per person. Owners must immediately clean up and remove dog feces left by their dog.
Prohibited: Dog treats, bones, and chew toys. Pets other than dogs. Smoking and food (human and animal). Bikes, strollers, baby carriages, skateboards, skates, rollerblades and motorized vehicles. Managed by Town of Glastonbury
Rocky Hill Dog Park (at Elm Ridge Park)

This is a 1.5-acre fenced park with a separate area for small dogs, drinking water, trees, and benches.
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Dog Rules: Dogs must display a valid license and up-to-date rabies vaccination tag and be leashed entering and leaving the dog park.
Prohibited: Aggressive dogs, puppies under 4 months, dogs in heat, sick dogs. Choke, pronged, spiked, and electronic collars. Pets other than dogs. Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, strollers or motorized vehicles. Smoking, glass containers, and food.
People rules: Dog owners must carry a leash, and have dog within sight and under voice control. Owners must clean up after their dogs. No more than 2 dogs per person. No children under 12 unless with an adult. Children must be closely supervised. Immediately fill in any holes your dog digs.
Southington Dog Park

The Southington Dog Park is for use ONLY by residents of Southington. It is a fenced in public area where dogs can legally run off-leash and play with other dogs under the supervision of their companions. The park is accessed through a double-gated entrance. A separate fenced area that may be used for small or timid dogs or a place for dogs to get acclimated to the park. Trash and recycling receptacles are provided. Managed by Town of Southington.
Hours: Dawn to 9 p.m.
Dog Rules: Dogs must be 4 months of age or older. Dogs must have a current Dog License and license tag must be visible.
Prohibited: Puppies under 4 months old, female dogs in heat, sick dogs.
People rules: No children under age 12 inside fenced area.
South Windsor Bark Park (near Nevers Road Park)

This fenced has separate areas for small and large dogs, water and clean up stations and agility equipment. Set next to beautiful Nevers Road Park. This dog park is supported by Friends of South Windsor Bark Park. Managed by City of South Windsor.

East Haddam Dog Park

This is a fenced dog park for off-leash play.
Hours: Sunrise to sunset
Dog Rules: Dogs should be neutered or spayed. Dogs must be attended and under voice control of the owner at all times.
Prohibited: Aggressive dogs, puppies under 6 months old, female dogs in heat, sick dogs. Dog treats, bones, and chew toys. Choke, pronged, spiked, and electronic collars. Pets other than dogs. Smoking and food (human and animal).
People rules: Owners must immediately clean up after their dogs. Owners are responsible for providing drinking water for their dogs. Children under 16 years of age shall be supervised by an adult. Managed by East Haddam Parks and Recreation
East Windsor Dog Park

Hours: year-round, sunrise to sunset.
Rules: Dogs must have a license and up-to-date vaccinations. Dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the park. Dog must be within owner's view and under voice control. Owner must pick up after their dog. Limit two dogs per adult per visit.
Prohibited: Aggressive dogs, puppies under 4 months old, dogs in heat, sick dogs. Dog treats, bones, and chew toys. Smoking, glass containers, and all food. Bicycles or strollers and children’s toys.
People rules: Children under the age of eight are not allowed in the park. Children over eight must be accompanied by an adult with a dog. No food or drink is permitted in the park.
