Connecticut boat ramps give lots of access to lakes and Long Island Sound

Where you find fishing locations in Connecticut – in the salt waters of Long Island Sound or in fresh-water lakes or ponds -- you are likely also to find well-maintained boat ramps providing easy access to the anglers’ sport. State parks, for instance, manage boat ramps with well-defined seasons and accessibility.
